He was born in 1991 in Istanbul. He graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry in 2015. In 2016, he entered the PhD program in Marmara University Periodontology (Gum Diseases and Treatment). Dt. Arıkan has developed himself in the field of gingival diseases and implantology.
